So....I have another short play at Theatre 503 this Saturday 8th May...the blurb is all below....but what they don't tell you is how much fun the evening is...all the actors, writers, directors and so on are all doing this for the love of it...and so the whole evening has a feel of a community event somehow...albeit a very polished and professional one...but basically there are nine short plays - each with a different cast and director...each with a week to get them rehearsed, off book and on stage...and somehow it all comes together...I can't wait! 

And I get to see my name on a screen on a London Theatre wall....imagine...

Here's the blurb....

The MTV of theatre returns, ahead of an appearance at this year's LATITUDE festival.

A night of new short plays by the best new writing talent around, all inspired by music.

The music can be anything – from Bach to the Beastie Boys – but the play must be the same length as the song that inspired it. Followed by a DJ spinning some of the night’s inspirational tunes.

Writers include:
Alice Birch, Alison Carr, Pamela Carter, Kenny Emson, Daniel Kanaber, Andrew Keatley, Tom Morton Smith, Daniel Smith, Rosalind Wylie. (I'm sure they meant Wyllie)

Directors include:
Alex Ferris & Catrin Lowe, Steve Harper, Jacqui Honess-Martin, Emily Jenkins, Max Key, Donnacadh O'Briain, Adam Quayle, Eleanor Rhode, Hannah Tyrrell-Pinder.

Inspiration includes:
Arcade Fire, Bon Iver, Cilla Black, Dandy Linvingstone, Fatboy Slim, James, The National, Songs:Ohia, Shawn Colvin.
