Off to Stratford Upon Avon

So....

This very week I am off to Stratford Upon Avon to hang out with the RSC!

That's right - the actual Royal Shakespeare Company!

We're going to be working on my play for the RSC/Live Theatre collaboration that is called Seeing Double...

I'm so excited. Really looking forward to it.  I've got the first draft of my TOP SECRET play...and we'll be spending the day seeing what works and what doesn't and then from there I get to go and do another, hopefully much improved draft.

Workshops and rehearsals are my favourite part of playwriting...the actual slogging it out over a computer isn't all it's cracked up to be...and sitting with an audience while they watch your work can be pretty nervewracking...but this bit...the workshops...that's the best bit.

As for the play...all I can say is that I've tried to challenge myself...that I've tried to write something theatrical and fun...

The play will be on alongside Ali Muriels new play on Thursday 14th and Friday 15th October....Live Theatre...Come along!
